We are a group of independent retired superior court judges available for Alternative Dispute Resolution. Alternative Dispute Resolution ("ADR") refers to any means of settling disputes outside of the courtroom. This includes arbitrations, mediation and settlement conferences, discovery and accounting disputes, as well as temporary judging. We have an extensive listing of independent private judges available for any of your ADR needs.
Judicial Gold Card gives you the advantage of selecting the person with the right qualifications and experience to resolve your despute. All disputes can be held in a confidential manner, and will be handled when first scheduled; not continued because the Court's calendar is too crowded.
Private Judges are engaged in several ways:
- All the judges on this website can be contacted directly and may administer your case themselves or through their secretaries. Turn to the roster to obtain their addresses.
- Some private judges can be engaged through various service providers who administer the cases, splitting the total fees with the private judge. Of these providers, some require the judge to be exclusive to them, others allow the judge to work independently and with a number of providers.
